Since IDQ Portal is an E.115 based application, a specified set of countries is supported. The directory inquiry and response method of these countries is also E.115 based. Most of the organisations using the E.115 protocol are united in the EIDQorganisation.
Despite the use of the E.115 protocol of the supported countries, every company in any country can use IDQ Portal. The regular (and least expensive) way of connection is by TCP/IP, over the internet. A connection by dedicated TCP/IP is also possible, or by X.25.
